Roberta LeAnn Gibson, best known as "Le", was born on August 19th, 1956 in Claremore, OK, the daughter of James and Tennie Bell (Mockicin) Gibson. She grew up with five brothers and four sisters, Simon, Solomon, Lylie, Simeon, Cemathy, Peggy, Bartholomew, Rodger, and Zena. She graduated from Kansas High School and then started her college classes at Dana College in Blair, Nebraska. She attended classes to learn about home health care but began to earn a living as an employee of the Sewing Factory in Tahlequah, OK. She then continued her sewing career at Fabricut Sewing factory in Pryor, OK. Le switched jobs and went to work at La-Z-Boy in Siloam Springs and was there for many years and her last job was as an EVS Casino Attendant at the Cherokee Casino in Siloam Springs. Le truly enjoyed her role as daughter, sister, loving wife, mother, aunt and friend. She met and married her best friend, Robert Glass, on August 15th, 1976 in Kansas, OK. This union was blessed with a son, Robert Nathaniel Glass. To know Le, was to know someone who truly loved the sport of softball. Her ball playing ability was well known around the Arkansas area, especially Jonesboro, Texarkana and Port City, just to name a few. Her favorite baseball team was the Chicago Cubs and was thrilled when they finally won the World Series in 2016. When she was at home, she loved to cook and bake, making special treats for her family to enjoy. If she made pumpkin cookies for you, that meant she really liked you, as she didn't make them for just anyone. She could do beautiful crochet and quilting work. She was becoming quite the avid quilt piecer. Le also enjoyed spending her time reading quilting magazines, quilting books, mystery novels of all types and bowling was a favorite pastime. Le even made it to Reno, NV to bowl in Nationals. You would often find her relaxing in the house, in the company of her favorite canine companion, Thor, listening to her favorite tunes such as the Chuck Wagon Gang, Oldies but Goodies, Classic Rock and various other types of music. Her family meant the world to her, and she was always available to listen to them when they needed a shoulder to lean upon and sometimes to liven life up with her wickedly funny sense of humor. She enjoyed the view from her own yard, especially since it had once been a ballfield, a place she felt right at home. She passed from this life on August 20, 2021 in Tahlequah, OK, with her family at her side. She was 65 years old.

Le is preceded in death by her maternal grandparents, Bird Mockicin and wife Jane Spade, paternal grandparents, Simon and Elizabeth (Taylor) Gipson, mother and father, Tennie Bell(Mockicin) and James Boyd Gibson, and two brothers, Bartholomew Gipson and Rodger Cornell Gibson.

Those left to cherish Le's memory include her husband of 45 years, Robert Eugene Glass of the home and her son, Robert Nathaniel Glass also of the home. She leaves her brothers and sisters, Simon James Gipson of Apopka, FL, Solomon Bird Mockicin of Marble City, OK, Lylie Dushane (Gibson) Standingwater of Tulsa, OK, Simeon Jack Gipson of Tahlequah, OK, Cemathy Asenath Gipson of Waterloo, NE, Peggy Ann Gibson of Tahlequah, OK, Zena Diyuma Gibson of Kansas,OK, as well as many nieces, nephews, cousins and a host of friends and loved ones too numerous to mention.
