Bobby John A. Young, 88 of Sparta, Tennessee passed away on Saturday, August 21, 2021, at his home.
He was born Saturday, January 22, 1933 in Sparta, Tennessee. He was the son of the late John Cornelias Young and Nancy Mae Knowles. He worked as a Heating and Air technician for 40 years.
Siblings include: Barney Young (deceased), Vera England (deceased), Louise Koneda (deceased), Don Young (deceased), Raymond Young (deceased), Maggie Young of Cookeville, TN, Charles Young (deceased), Bea Gray of Painesville, TN and Jim Young of Walling, TN.
Bob served 6 years in the Army and Reserves, 1951-1957, then headed North to Akron, OH where he met his wife, Lois V. Good (Dody)(deceased). Work then relocated them to MI, where they spent majority of their adult lives. They had 4 children: Karey Young and wife, Pok-hui of Nashville, TN, Rick Young (deceased), Bruce Young and wife, Laurie of Gross Isle, MI, and Tammy L. Young of Sparta, TN. Bob returned to Sparta, TN at the age of 65 where he ultimately retired.
A Gravedside Memorial Service will be held on November 25, 2021 at Hensley Chapel with Dewey Young officiating.
