Pioneer Resident is Buried in Oak Hill.
Funeral services for Mrs. Mary Anna Payne, who died at her home in Oklahoma City Friday, June 10, were held from the Chaney chapel Monday afternoon at one o'clock, internment was in Oak Hill cemetery. The deceased was 75 years of age at the time of her death and was one of the pioneer residents of McAlester, having resided there for many years before she moved to Oklahoma City in 1918, where she had lived since. Her husband J. A. Payne died at their home in McAlester in 1918. Those who survive in the immediate family are four daughters and three sons. The daughters are Mrs. R. H. Dick of Oklahoma City, Mrs. J. A. Condreay and Mrs. J. F. Taulbee, both of Tulsa, and Mrs. D. M. Dawson of Cuero, Texas. The sons are Raymond of Cedarvale, Okla., John of Marland, Okla., and Bert of Oklahoma City.

Talbee and Mrs. J.A. Candray, both of Tulsa, and Mrs. R.H. Dick of Oklahoma City; three sons, Bert Payne of Oklahoma City, John Payne of Marland, and Raymond Payne of Woodward. Funeral services will be announced later by Marshall & Harper's funeral home.

Dick, will be conducted by Marshall & Harper's chapel Sunday afternoon at 5 o'clock by Rev. William Kitchen. She is survived by four daughters and three sons. The body will be forwarded to McAlester for burial.∼Mary Ann (Bolender) Payne was the daughter of Jonas Bolender and Catharine Shinkle. She married John A. Payne.
