Funeral services will be held at 10 a.m. Thursday for Mrs. Maree Angela Spriggs. 82, of 32-582 Shifting Sands Trail, who died Saturday in Desert Hospital following a long illness. A native of Wilmington. Del., she had been a local resident for 26 years and a resident of California for 44 years. She is survived by a son, John Newland of Palm Springs; a sister. Mrs. Thomas Dalton of La Jolla; and a brother, Leo Comini of Wallace, Idaho. Mass will be conducted at St. Theresa Catholic Church by Fr. Adrian Brinn. assistant pastor of the church. He will recite the Rosary for Mrs, Spriggs at the church at 7:30 tonight. Interment will be in Desert Memorial Park.
