Esther Rubio Rodriguez was born in Ameca, Jalisco, Mexico on July 6, 1931. She passed away into God's loving arms on Thursday, August 5, 2021.
Esther immigrated to the United States in 1957. Esther was a very strong, caring and devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She lived her entire 90 years on this earth helping others and believing in her Catholic faith.
Esther worked as a live-in housemaid and nanny in Brawley, CA then as an agricultural worker in the Firebaugh area and finally spent the last 35 years raising her children and grandchildren. Esther was a true friend who was always willing to lend a helping hand to anyone who needed it.
She is survived by her spouse Jose V. Carmona, son Roberto Carmona and his wife Glenda Carmona, daughter Betty Carmona and partner Bill Parker, and granddaughters Stephanie Valencia, Alexis Carmona and Kaitlyn Carmona. Esther enjoyed taking care of her flowers and plants, spending time with family, going to church and traveling.
Visitation will be held on Monday, August 23, 2021 from 9:00-10:00 am at St. Joseph Church in Firebaugh, CA.
Recitation of the Holy Rosary will begin at 10:00 am followed by Mass all at St. Joseph Church.
She will be laid to rest at Belmont Memorial Park, 201 N. Teilman Ave, Fresno 93706.
