Along with his parents, he was also preceded in death by three brothers, John T., Jerome Clyde, and Daniel "Fuzz" Blair; a granddaughter, Lisa Blair; a great-grandson, Aiden McGehee; and a brother-in-law, Dennis Peerman.
Michael is survived by his wife of 56 years, Elsie M. Bickett Blair; five children, Charlene McGehee (Rex) of Owensboro, Daphne Nugent (Will) of Cannelton, IN, Michael "Joey" Blair Jr. (Angelina) of Owensboro, Shannon Glassco (Steve) of Henderson, and Matthew Blair (Lindsey) of New Albany, IN; 21 grandchildren; 14 great-grandchildren; four brothers, Jerome Blair (Bonnie), Ben Blair (Stanette), Thomas Blair (Janie), and Robert Blair (Gail) all of Owensboro; two sisters, Mary Jones (John) of Fordsville, and Angela Peerman of Owensboro; sisters-in-law, Lucy Blair of Owensboro, Trudy Morris (Mike) of Falls of Rough, and Monica Kay Creamer (Bobby) of Owensboro; brothers-in-law, Ricky Bickett (Shirley) of Knottsville, and Scotty Bickett (Kim) of Owensboro.
The funeral mass for Michael will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Augustine Catholic Church in Reed, KY with Fr. John Agatcho officiating. Burial following in St. Augustine Cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday from 2 until 8 p.m. at Glenn Funeral Home and Crematory,
