Angela Kay Perkins, 56, entered into rest on Sunday, August 22, 2021 in Lake Charles, Louisiana. Angela was born to Daniel Elliott and Louise Shafer Elliott on April 30, 1965.
Funeral services will be held Thursday, August 26, 2021, visitation will start at 12:00 Noon and service will begin at 1:00 PM, at the church with Rev. Joey Whitener pastor of New Hope Baptist Church in Elizabeth, Louisiana officiating. Interment will follow at Drakes Fork Cemetery in Pitkin (Cravens), Louisiana.
Angela loved spending time with her family and friends. She will be greatly missed by all her loved ones.
Left to cherish her memory are her husband William Perkins of Pitkin, LA; father Daniel Elliott and wife Shirley of Cravens, LA; mother Louise Bond and husband Bob of Mason, OH; son Charles Pickering and wife Litisha of Nederland, TX; daughters Angelica Pickering of Nederland, TX, Ashley Pickering and husband Jonathan Gary of Longview, TX; step-children Leslie Burke of Elizabeth, LA, Heather Perkins of Leesville, LA, Shane Perkins of Pitkin, LA; step brothers Thomas Smith of Anacoco, LA, William Smith of Anacoco, LA, Travis Smith of Gulfport MS; step-sister Candy Coker; half-sister Michele Szylakowski and husband Greg of Loveland, OH; and thirteen grandchildren.
Preceded in death by her brother Charles Daniel Elliott.
