Winifred Butler English, of Ranburne, Alabama, passed away at her residence on October 30, 2008. She was 72. Mrs. English was a graduate of West Georgia College and was a retired teacher, having taught at Ranburne High School in Cleburne County, AL and Bowdon High School in Carroll County, Georgia for 33 years. Always devoted to her family, she was a loving wife and mother.
She is survived by her husband of 55 years, Donald English; son and daughter-in-law of Ranburne; two grandchildren of Ranburne; two brothers and sisters-in-law.
Funeral services held on November 1 at the Chapel of Rainwater Funeral Home, Bowdon, GA with Rev. Kit Carson officiating. After the funeral services, her body will be cremated.
