Born in Hancock, N.Y., daughter of Maris Finnerty Hunter and the late Clair E. Arthur and stepdaughter of Gordon Hunter, she was a member of St. Rose of Lima Church, Carbondale. She attended Benjamin Franklin High School, Carbondale and prior to her illness, she was employed by Cinram Manufacturing, Olyphant. She was active in the Greater Carbondale YMCA.
Also surviving are two sons, Grant Baker, Dickson City; and Shawn Baker, Duluth, Ga.; a daughter, Lindsay Baker, Duluth; three sisters, Deborah Shihinski, San Diego, Calif.; Michelle Arthur, Carbondale; and Christine Bonacci, San Diego; two brothers, Glen Arthur, Dickson City; and Roger Arthur, San Diego; two grandsons, Grant III and John Jacob Baker; many aunts and uncles, including Nancy Selesky. She was also preceded in death by a sister, Donna Minelli.
