Shane Howard Parker, 61, of Bay City, our strong, loyal, dedicated, and loving father, soul mate, grandfather, son, brother, uncle, and friend passed away after a courageous battle with cancer on Sunday, June 7, 2020 with his family by his side. Shane was born on January 9, 1959 in Farmington Hills, the son of Kenneth Arnold and Carol Jean (Hartley) Parker. Shane worked in the construction business, was a heavy machinery operator in the operating engineers, and spent many years at C & J Trucking. He was a member of the Local 1098 of Saginaw and the Local 487 of Miami, Florida. Shane, who was also lovingly remembered as "Howey" enjoyed racing, working on engines or anything mechanical, working out, and huntings, he loved the outdoors. Above all, Shane adored his family and the time spent with them. He will be missed dearly for years to come. Shane leaves to cherish his memory, his daughter, Samantha Kaye Parker; step-son, Nicholas Scott Stevenson; his soul mate, Judy Bell; father, Kenneth Arnold Parker; he was the loving grandfather of Atlas Howard Kerkau and step-grandpa to Jozlynn Steven, Jade Amber Pickvet, Aaliyah Alvardo, Paige Kay Pickvet, Walter Stevenson, and Leigh Pickvet; siblings, Denise Parker-Williams (Tim Williams), Holly Parker, Bambie Parker, Rick Genow, Shawn Parker, Sherry Hutton Parker, and Kelly Parker, along with many nieces, nephews, and friends. Shane was welcomed home to heaven by his mother Carol Parker. Final arrangements have been entrusted to Skorupski Family Funeral Home & Cremation Services, 821 N. Pine Rd., between Ridge & Center.
