She was born Feb 3, 1930 in Peoria, Illinois.
On May 12, 1950 she married Cleon Peelman, who preceded her in death on Oct 10, 1995. Also preceding her in death were her parents.
On June 14, 2003, she married Thomas Callaway in Atlanta, Georgia, who survives. Also surviving are a daughter and son-in-law Sandra Peelman & Bruce Berger, of Stone Mountain, Georgia; a son and daughter-in-law, Michael & Karen Peelman, of Flower Mound, Texas; grandchildren Andrew & Melanie Hoit of Belvidere, Amy Perkins of Norcross, Georgia. Jessica Peelman of Flower Mound, Texas, Jeremiah & Alexis Hansen of Lewisville, Texas, and Amber Konger of Lewisville, Texas; and great-grandchildren, Katie, Drew and Alexis Hoit of Belvidere.
Graveside services were held at 2 pm Saturday, May 29, 2004 at Oak Grove Cemetery, rural Palestine, Illinois. Goodwine Funeral Home in Palestine was in charge of arrangements. She shares her tombstone with her first husband Cleon Peelman.
