She was born in Muncie on November 14, 1923, the daughter of Arthur G. and Osa E. (Jenkinson) Clark and attended Muncie Central High School.
Betty was an insurance professional with Naze-Perry Insurance for almost sixty years prior to her retirement. She was a long-time member of First Baptist Church and the BYKOTA Class.
Mrs. Clark loved reading, sewing and cooking. She was a natural caregiver and was always helping those in need.
Survivors include her two daughters, Connie Burton of Muncie and Kathy Kramer (Jim) of Virginia; her grandchildren, Elizabeth Bransom (James), James Kramer, and Jennifer Melton (Eddy); great-grandchildren, Mary, Hannah, Sarah and Liam Bransom and Sean and Ryan Melton; two great-great grandchildren, Emily and Olivia Melton; her dear nieces, Sharon Wilson and Esther Maxfield; along with many other nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her husband of sixty years, Bob; her parents; three brothers, Roscoe, Robert and Raymond Clark; two sisters, Maxine Runion and Lois Gray.
Services will be 2:00 p.m. on Friday, August 27, 2021 at The Meeks Mortuary and Crematory, Washington Street Chapel with Dr. William Eidson officiating.
Burial will follow in Gardens of Memory Cemetery.
