Yolanda Creeks-Baker was born to proud parents Deacon Willie Creeks and Sis. Bobbie Creeks. Yolanda was the 3rd child out of 6 children. She was baptized at an early age at Greater New Hope Baptist Church in Houston, Texas under the leadership of Pastor Smith.
Yolanda attended Langstead Head Start, Fonwood Elementary, Northwood Middle, then graduated from Forest Brook High School in 1986. On January 7, 1989 Yolanda married Albert Chambers. In that union she gave birth to a beautiful baby girl that she called her angel (Reba Chambers). Later, April 17, 2018, she married Tyrone Baker and in that union came her other angel son Tavarus Baker. She worked at Kingwood Hospital, Walgreens Warehouse, Texas A&M, and Brenham State School . Yolanda really loved her entire family. She truly loved and adored her granddaughter Rihaunna Stringfellow. They were like 2 peas in a pod. She relocated to Navasota, TX. in 2005. Shortly after, she joined True Vine Missionary Baptist Church of the late Rev. William Gant, Sr/currently Rev. Charlie Hall. Yolanda gained her wings on August 5, 2021. She is preceded in death by her father Willie Creeks, sister Ora Creeks, niece Porscha Crawford, and her maternal and paternal grandparents, along with other loved ones.
