George entered the kingdom of heaven Wednesday morning May 23rd while at a medical facility in The Woodlands Texas. Heaven now has a geophysicist to explore the wonders of eternal life. George was born at home in Barnwell AL. He was preceded in death by his Father Willard Watters Allen and Mother Frances Allen Pizzotti. He Graduated from Fairhope High School in 1955. He served in the US Navy in the middle east on the USS Duxbury AVP-38 as a Quartermaster and received his BS Degree from Mississippi State in Geophysics in 1961 on a scholarship from Texaco, Inc. He married Constance Spillar in 1962. They had two children, James Allen, Gig Harbor WA and Julie Durant, Fairhope, Alabama. Grandchildren: Laura Booth, The Woodlands TX., Haley Housel, Portola, CA., Lea Pittman, Biloxi MS., Brenna Christoher, Fairhope, AL., Great grandchildren: Ava Booth, The Woodlands TS., Jude Housel, Portola CA., Ezra Pittman, Biloxi MS. George retired from Quintana Petroleum after 20 years service and Lived in The Woodlands, TX. He was an avid golfer and fisherman. A memorial service will be held at the Grace Community Church 24422 Kuykendahl Rd. Tom Ball, TX 77375 Tuesday May 29th at 3:00 PM Another Memorial service in Fairhope, AL will be announced at a later date.
