Karen Riley, age 56 of Newburg, returned to her Heavenly Father on Friday, August 20, 2021. She was born on April 3, 1965.
She was a nurse and previously employed with Share Care. Her home church was Bethel Star Apostolic Church in Lebanon, Kentucky. She also attended Newburg Church of Christ as well as Baca Miracle Revival Center Ministries.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Shirley and Marie Williams and her siblings, Sherman Williams, Sr. and Joe Paul Williams.
She leaves to cherish her memory her children, Victoria Williams (Katherine), Erik Riley and Nicole Riley; her grandson-on-the way, Max; her siblings, Deborah Williams, Sarah Betty Hayes, Mary Frances Furman (Joseph, Sr.), Rose Sanders, Dorothy Myles, JoAnn Taylor (Otis), Geneva Williams and Mattie Edelen; her sisters-in-law, Lucille Williams and Andrea Williams and a host of other family members and friends.
Funeral service will be conducted at 5 pm on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 in the chapel of Hardy Close Funeral Home, 285 South Buckman Street in Shepherdsville with cremation to follow. Friends may pay their respects from 10 am until 5 pm on Wednesday, September 1, 2021 at Hardy Close Funeral Home.
