Sandra June Harrison

Sandra June Harrison age 69, beloved sister and aunt, was called to be with her Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ, on August 19th, 2021. Sandra was born in Bastrop, Louisiana to the late William Armster Harrison and OL Antley Harrison. She has resided in LaFayette, Georgia since 2017. She was a long-term resident of Baker, Louisiana and a retired teacher/librarian from the East Baton Rouge Parish School system. She was a member of First Baptist Church of Baker, Louisiana. Locally, she was involved at Burning Bush Baptist Church in Ringgold, where she enjoyed singing with the Prime Time Choir. Sandra loved her family, including her four furry family members, Pepper, Paco, Truffle and Sassy Noel. She was a kind, compassionate, and generous friend. Along with her parents, she is preceded in death by her brother: Earl Harrison Sr; sisters: Nora Sue Harrison, Susan Diane White, Kay Harrison Hayward and brother-in-law: Allan Eugene Hamilton, Sr. Sandra is survived by her sister: Gloria Harrison Hamilton, nieces: Tammy (Hamilton) O'Grady, Stacey (Harrison) Dupre, Kandace (Hamilton) Carter, Melissa (Temple) Pansano and nephews: Allan Hamilton Jr., Earl Harrison Jr., Scott Temple, Jason Aguillard, Paul Temple, Justin Temple, Michael Harrison and many great nieces and nephews. The family will receive friends Saturday – August 28, 2021 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm with the funeral service to follow at Burning Bush Baptist Church. Burial will follow in Burning Bush Cemetery. The family will accept flowers or donations may be made to the Catoosa County Children's Fund or the Catoosa County Animal Shelter.
