Joe Don Stevens, 65, of Ringgold went home to be with his Lord Friday, August 20, 2021. He was born February 7, 1956 in Fort Oglethorpe to the late Gaines and Julia Leedell Stevens. He was a lifelong resident of the North Georgia area and member of Gospel Way Baptist Church. He worked for Dalton Utilities as Fleet Supervisors for many years. The only thing that Joe loved more than working on his farm was spending time with his loving family, especially his grandchildren who meant the world to him.
He is preceded by his loving wife of 34 years, Cindy Stevens; siblings, Ricky and Kathy.
Survivors include his son, Justin (Faith) Stevens; daughter, April Stevens; brothers, David (Anna) Stevens and Eddie (Tina) Stevens; grandchildren, Adaya, Julia and Oliver; several nieces and nephews also survive.
Funeral services with be 4 PM, Tuesday at Gospel Way Baptist Church in Ringgold, GA with Justin Stevens and Pastor Kirby Hill officiating. Interment will be at Pine Grove Cemetery.
