Angie (Nina) Guerra went home to Jesus on Monday, August 16, 2021 following a long illness.
She was born on Sept. 25, 1944 in Austin, Texas. The second of seven children of Cleofas and Lucy Garcia. She married the love of her life Louis Guerra on June 29, 1962. They raised three children and her youngest sister after the death of her parents. She will be remembered for always caring and treating others with a tender heart. She was loved by everyone who knew her and welcomed anyone in her home who was in need. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with family.
Survivors include her husband, Louis Guerra; three children, Louis Jr. and husband, John, Linda Zamora and husband, Martin and Lisa Wright and husband, Joe; three grandchildren, Taylor Andrew Zamora, Christian Nicole Zamora and Madison Olivia Zamora; her sisters, Susan Garcia and husband, Rogelio and Mary Ruiz and husband, Manuel; brother, Tony Garcia; brothers-in-law, Freddie Galindo and Mike Contreras; sister-in-law, Mary Garcia; and has numerous nieces and nephews, as well as many God children, relatives and friends.
Angie was preceded in death by her parents, Cleofas and Lucy Garcia; brother, Simon Garcia; sisters, Gregoria Garcia and Juanita Galindo; and sister-in-law, Gloria Garcia.
Friends and family are invited to attend a Rosary on Tuesday, August 24, 2021 from 6 to 8 p.m. at Greenwood Chapel. A Funeral Service is scheduled at 12 p.m. Wednesday, August 25, 2021 at St. Mary Of The Assumption Catholic Church, 509 W. Magnolia Ave., Fort Worth, Texas 76104, with the interment following in Greenwood Memorial Park.
