David A. Starks, age 69 of Dale, passed away unexpectedly on Thursday, August 19, 2021 at his residence. David was born on September 20, 1951 in Marshfield to the late Leroy and Beatrice (Watson) Starks. He served in the US Army Special Forces for 11 years. David loved watching the Packers. He worked at Fox Valley Steel & Wire in Hortonville for many years and also was a carpet installer. David was currently working cleaning kitchens at Route 96 and Jimmers. One of his favorite pastimes was debating politics!
David is survived by his children, Nancy (Tyler) Southard and Kevin Starks (fiancée Jacqueline Macpherson); grandchildren, Trinity and Reina Starks and his brothers, Jim and Roy Starks. He is further survived by numerous nieces, nephews, relatives and friends,
David was preceded in death by his parents; sisters, Nancy (Cliff) Faucher and Marge (Vern) Schirpke and brother, Donald.
The funeral for David will be held at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, August 23, 2021 at Cline & Hanson Funeral Home in New London. Visitation will take place from 9:00 a.m. until the time of service. Burial will be in Ostrander Cemetery, Town of Mukwa.
