Mark Taylor of Godley, Texas passed away Friday August 13, at his home, after a brief illness. He will be remembered as a father who always loved deeply, a devoted brother, trustworthy friend, and the guy that always brought laugher to the party.

Mark was born on September 1, 1965 in San Antonio, Texas to the parents of Thomas and Hallie Taylor. The family moved to Grapevine, Texas while he was young, then to Bayfield Colorado, and back to Hurst, Texas. Mark graduated from LD Bell in 1984.

Because of his mechanical aptitude and skills in other areas, Mark was sought out and employed by companies that took him to several places across the country including Virginia, Wyoming and Colorado. His current employment was with Texas State Utility as a logistic supervisor. Many called on him when help was needed to repair a vehicle, carpentry skills were required, a tow was needed, and much more. He was always happy to assist. Everyone considered him a jack of all trades. Mark loved German Shepherds for their intelligence, loyalty, strength and gentleness. They are a lot like he was in life. He enjoyed rebuilding trucks, camping in Colorado, working in his shop (especially with Cameron), playing pranks on the nearest victim, and spending time with his family and friends.

Mark is survived by fiancé, Annie Milner, sons Cameron Ryan, Coleman Thomas, brother James Taylor (Leona), nephews: Jerrod Taylor (Kandace) , Joshua Taylor, and Zachary Taylor (Candice), 2 great nieces, 2 great nephews, several cousins, aunts and uncles. He will be greatly missed. He was preceded in death by his father Thomas W Taylor, mother Hallie Taylor, and his brother Thomas W. Taylor Jr.
