Samuel Norwood Walker, 65, of Lumberton, died Friday, August 20, 2021, at Baptist Hospitals of Southeast Texas, Beaumont. He was born October 17, 1955, in Beaumont, to Mary Alice Watson Walker and Ollie Ware Walker.

Samuel is survived by his wife, Rayma Walker; children, Samantha Rayon and her husband, Lance, of Vidor; Charlene Hyatt, of Groves; and Sara Braus and her husband, Brad Mauriceville; grandchildren, Jessica White and her husband, Casey, of Beaumont; Lela Hyatt and her fiancé, Matt Bertrand, of Bridge City; Katie Melancon and her husband, Ryan, of Hondo; Hayden Morris; Halli Morris; Harli Rayon; and Hayln Rayon, all of Vidor; great-grandchildren, Waylon Morris, Alstin Bertrand, Brayden Bertrand, and Landon Melancon; and brother, Tim Walker and his wife, Karen, of Vidor.

He is preceded in death by his parents; son Mike Hyatt; and his brother, Terry Walker.

A gathering of Mr. Walker's family and friends will begin 10:00 a.m., with his funeral service at 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 26, 2021, at Broussard's, 490 Cemetery Road, Silsbee, with his interment to follow at Hardin Memorial Park Cemetery, Silsbee.
