Kay Kay was the sixth born child to Charles Raymond Hughes and Nora Janette Carlisle Hughes. Granddaughter to Harry and Mary Hughes and Breton and Marjorie Carlisle, all of Hillsdale, Michigan. Karla had two sons, Gerald Deneny of Kalamazoo, Michigan, and Joseph Dale Deneny of Boise, Idaho. She also had nine grandchildren at the time of her death. Karla was a bright light in this world, full of light and laughter. She was deeply loved by all of her family members and is greatly missed.
