Clayton Dewayne Cox, age 41 of Estill Springs, passed away on Friday, August 20, 2021, at Harton Regional Medical Center. A native of Franklin County, he was born in Winchester on March 24, 1980. He had previously been employed at Home Depot as Manager of the lumberyard. Dewayne was an avid Alabama football fan and enjoyed his Honda Shadow motorcycle and Oldsmobile Cutlass. He also enjoyed swimming and fishing. He was preceded in death by his sister, Brandie Harris. Dewayne is survived by his father, Clayton (Rhonda) Cox of Winchester; mother, Sybil (Jack) Bishop of Estill Springs; children, Skylar Nowocin of Cowan, Chloe Cox of Belvidere, Destinee Cox of Belvidere, and Clay Cox of Belvidere; granddaughter, Rozealee Cox of Belvidere; and sisters, Amanda (Timothy) Ingle of Winchester, Jamie Walker of Winchester, and Becky Eads of Winchester. Visitation will be from 5-8pm on Monday, August 23, 2021, at Moore-Cortner Funeral Home. Funeral Services will be held at 2:00pm on Tuesday, August 24, 2021, in the Moore-Cortner Chapel with Rev.
