St. Charles, Kimberly Anne Kimberly Anne St. Charles, 49, passed away May 2, 2021 with her loving family by her side in Jackson, MI. She is preceded in death by her mother Sharon Wise Kendall, father John Robert Kendall, Jr., grandmother Eleanor Wise, and grandparents Jack and Janey Kendall. Kimberly Anne Kendall was born to John Robert Kendall, Jr. and Sharon Wise Kendall on December 31, 1971 at Cottage Hospital in Grosse Pointe Farms, MI. She was raised in Traverse City, MI and attended Central United Methodist Church where she nurtured her lifelong relationship with God. She graduated from Traverse City High School in 1990 where she played viola in the high school orchestra, was a member of the high school cross-country team, and was an exchange student living in Austria for 6 weeks. She attended Adrian College where she served as chapter President of the Alpha Phi sorority and graduated with a B.S. in Psychology and Family Life Management in 1994. On August 7, 1997 she married George Matthew Stephens and they had two children, Kendall Anne and George Nicholas. On January 22, 2010 she married Michael Eli St. Charles, and they adopted two children, Aaliyah Kathryn and Zachary Michael. She began her career in child development working as a teacher and then director of ABC Academy for 19 years before transitioning in 2016 to administration at Spring Arbor University where she worked for 5 years. She enjoyed supporting her children's many activities and talents and keeping up with their busy schedules, games, practices, rehearsals, and performances. She enjoyed traveling, maintaining close relationships with her sorority sisters, serving as an active member of her church and community, and planning the most beautiful parties and events for her children and family. She was admired by her family and friends for her strong faith, quiet dignity, sweet smile, endless compassion, and graceful heart. She has beautifully impacted the lives of countless individuals and has been an inspiration to all who have crossed her path. She is survived by her husband Michael St. Charles, children Kendall and Nicholas Stephens, and Aaliyah and Zachary St. Charles of Jackson, MI, sister Kathryn Pekrul, brother Johnny Kendall, stepmother Carri Kendall, and nephews Steven and Michael Pekrul of Grand Rapids, MI. A celebration of Kimberly's life will be held at a memorial service at 12pm on Monday May 10, at JaxNaz Church, 3905 Clinton Road Jackson, MI. Visitation with her family, along with light refreshments, will occur at 3682 Alta Drive Parma, MI following the service. In lieu of flowers, contributions to her children's education may be made to the Kim St. Charles Memorial Fund by deposit to the fund at True Community Credit Union or by Venmo @Kim-StCharles-Fund. Arrangements have been made by Watson Funeral Chapel.
