Funeral services for Mary Ruth Aldridge, 85, will be held in the McLish Ave. Church of Christ. Burial will follow at Mannsville Cemetery.

The daughter of the late Frederick David and Mary Carolyn McMillan Walcott, Mary was born February 13, 1936 in Oakland, Oklahoma and went to be with her Lord and Savior on August 21, 2021. She was greeted by her sisters that preceded her, Gwen, Loanna, Adele, and Dorothy.

She graduated from Madill High School , Class of 1954, and on May 26, 1956, she and Charles "Chock" Aldridge were married in Oakland, Oklahoma. She began her career with Ardmore City Schools in 1965. She worked as an education secretary and retired in 2001. She could also be found during many of those years in the concession stand or a ticket booth. She was a member of the McLish Ave. Church of Christ.

She is survived by her husband of 64 years Chock, her sons Douglas and his wife Joy; David and his wife Brenda; John and his wife Joyce, her sister Shirley Gay; and her grandchildren, Taylor, Lacie, Brady, Lottie, Kaitlin, Chelsea, Ethan, Collin, Conner, Michael and Lucas, and her great grandchildren, Stella, Ruthie, Emmeline, Laurel, Juniper, Everett, Carmen and Elora. She is also survived by nieces, nephews and a host of other family and friends that will miss her dearly.
