Edward was a life long residence of Warwick, Rhode Island until his retirement to Okeechobee, Florida in 2003. He enjoyed all sports especially hockey, football, baseball, sport fishing and golf. He was very proud of the hole in one he got playing in a golf tournament.

Edward was preceded in death by his wife, Marion Louise (Graichen) Ethier; parents, Peter Ethier and Diana (Bourassa) Ethier; brothers: Albert, William, George, Peter, Eugene, David, Francis and Arthur; and sister, Diana Regnault.

The funeral and burial will be private. All arrangements are entrusted to the direction and care of the Buxton & Bass Okeechobee Funeral Home,Okeechobee, Florida
