Graveside services for David Duncan, 69, of Lufkin, will be August 25, 2021 in the Cedar Grove Cemetery. Colonial Mortuary.

Mr. David Duncan was born to Dock and Dorothy Duncan who preceded him in death.
He spent his early years in the Dallas area until he met and married the Love of His Life, Tennie and moved to Lufkin, Texas. David was a beloved Chaplain of VFW Post 1836, U.S. Army Veteran, and a member of The Church Of The Living God P.G.T., where he served as a Deacon. David loved to go fishing, sing, mentoring the youth, cooking, and shopping. He believed you should Dress to Impress, and David dressed. He never met a stranger and enjoyed lending a helping hand to those in need. David's kind heart and compassion for others will truly be missed.

His wife, Tennie Duncan; daughters, Donna Sears, Dana Stewart; stepsons, Adrian (Nichole) Ward; James (Demetice) Ward; Will Mark; Kennie Mark; special son, La'Dauris Parks; brother, Devon Duncan; sisters, Debra (Michael) Holmes; Damita Tatum; Dollie Finley; Delores Moore; numerous grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and cousins.
