He was a Crane Operator at Kroots Corporation. Don enjoyed Nascar, western movies and spending time with his family. He was a talented musician and bass player.
Graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m.Tuesday, August 24, at Garland Brook Cemetery with Rev. Chuck Kennedy officiating. Calling will be 4-7 Monday at Jewell-Rittman Family Funeral Home.

Survivors include former spouse and close friend, Sherri Godsey; sons Brandon (Victoria) Godsey of Columbus and Chris Godsey of Columbus; sister, Ella Jean (Roger) Gillespie of Columbus; brother Eddie Godsey of North Carolina; grandchildren, Adam, Liam, Elowen Godsey and several cousins, nieces, and nephews.
