Geraldine Jackson, 89, of Benton, died on August 19, 2021.
She was a graduate of Benton High School and Arkansas State Teachers College. Geraldine married Glendol Jackson on June 27, 1951. Geraldine taught second and third grade in the Benton School District for 25 years. Following retirement, Geraldine and Glendol enjoyed traveling in their RV for twenty years across the US with their buddies. Geraldine was a member of First United Methodist Church and active in Girl Scouts of America.
Geraldine was preceded in death by her husband Glendol Jackson, her son Jerry Glen Jackson, her parents Floyd and Mildred Green.
Survivors, daughter, Karen Jackson Breitweiser Grace and husband, Gerald, son John Floyd Jackson and wife Pam, three grandchildren, Clayton Wayne Breitweiser and wife, Kristy Red-Horse, Holly Denise Breitweiser Hart and husband Eric, Rustin Grant Jackson and wife Savannah, three great-grandchildren, Carley Zoie Rose Hart, Drake Red-Horse Breitweiser, and Violet Red-Horse Breitweiser, sister Dorothy Alice Harkey, nephew Robbi Robertson and niece Pamela Wehner.
Visitation at 10 am, services to follow at 11 am, Monday, August 23, 2021, at Ashby Funeral Home with Pastor Brady Lane officiating. Gravesite will be Wednesday.
