Kevin Lee Davis was born to Terry Eugene and Carol Ann Peugh Davis on April 15, 1960. He attended Oakwood High School. He passed away in his home on 20 Aug, 2021. He had been having heart and other health issues for sometime.
Kevin had worked as a construction contractor- retired. He was an avid outdoors man, who loved hunting and fishing. He drove dirt track stock cars in his younger years, and had been a past volunteer firefighter with Oakwood Vol. Fire Dept., until injuries from racing forced him to retire from these activities.
He is survived by his mother- Carol A. DeVoss of Savoy, Step-mother- Barbara Ann Davis of Holly Springs, Ms., Special friend- Kay Miller of Danville, a daughter-Tommie of W. VA., a sister Brundy (Jeff) Lyons of Fairmount and a nephew- Tyler Lyons, a step-brother- Harry James of Southaven, Ms., a step-sister Marsha Shafer of Southaven,Ms., and many cousins.
He was preceded in death by his Father, Terry E. Davis of Holly Springs, Mississippi.
A committal service was held on Thursday, April 13, 2023 at 10 am at Sunset Memorial Park Chapel Mausoleum, located at 3901 N. Vermilion Street in Danville, Illinois. He was laid to rest with his mother at the Memorial Park following the service.
