Robert M. Quinn, age 64, of Manhattan, died August 19, 2021, at his residence.

He was born September 2, 1956, in Manhattan, the 9th of 12 children born to Jerry Patrick and Elsie Marie (Covey) Quinn.

Robert was a life-long resident of Manhattan, and grew up attending Seven Dolors Catholic Church.

He worked on the family farm and then worked at Kansas State University for grounds, retiring in 2011.

Robert enjoyed fishing and his dog Jake, but the time he loved was spent with his family and especially his grandchildren.

Survivors include his two children, four grandchildren and a large extended family, which includes his brothers and sisters: Dixie Williams of Lee's Summit, MO; Patty Campos, of De Soto, KS; Janis Colvin of North Bend, OR; Jerry Mark Quinn of Blue Springs, MO; Nancy Hanson and her husband Randy of Lake Lotawana, MO; Larry Quinn of Manhattan, KS; Ken Quinn of Olathe, KS; Chuck Quinn of Perry, KS; and Pam Quinn of Kansas City, KS; Bob was an uncle to three generation of numerous nieces and nephews at the time of his death. Bob was preceded in death by his parents Jerry and Elsie Quinn, and 2 brothers Tommy and Greg.

A Celebration of Robert's life was held at 10:00 A.M. Thursday, August 26th, at the Yorgensen-Meloan-Londeen Funeral Chapel. Private family inurnment was held in the Sunrise Cemetery in Manhattan. The family invited loved ones to a gathering following the services in Long's Park in Manhattan.
