AGE 78 YEARS
Dorothy M. Grant of North Attleboro died August 15, 2021 in Boston. Wife of the late Leslie Grant for 46 years until his death in 2020. She was a daughter of the late Vincent and Margaret (Donahue) Kohansky. Dottie grew up in West Roxbury and was a graduate of Roslindale High School in 1960. She was a homemaker, then worked as a nurse's aide at Stonehedge Nursing Home in West Roxbury before retiring. Dottie loved to travel, especially to Spain where she took three trips. She also took in several exchange students over 15 years.
She is survived by her eight children and their spouses: Kevin Svagdis of Naples, FL, Linda Kenney of Norwood, John Svagdis of Bridgewater, Michael Grant of Brookline, Michael Svagdis of Washington, DC, Leslie Grant, III of Brighton, William Grant of Mansfield and Christopher Svagdis of Norwood; and 16 grandchildren. She is also survived by her children's spouses. She was sister of the late William Kohansky.
Services will be held privately with Burial at Mt. Hope Cemetery, Attleboro Falls.
