Marilyn Delaney, 80, of Beloit, WI, died unexpectedly on Thursday, August 19, 2021 in her home. She was born on November 19, 1940 in Beloit, WI, the daughter of Arthur and Christine Viola (Jiricek) Wolf. Marilyn married Thomas Lamb on August 10, 1963 in South Beloit, IL. He predeceased her on March 24, 1980. Marilyn later married Joseph Delaney on September 3, 1986 in Janesville, WI. Marilyn was employed by Chrysler as an assembler, retiring in 1992. She was a Green Bay Packer fan and her favorite thing to do was enter football pools at the Wheel Inn. Marilyn also enjoyed playing cards, especially Euchre. She was very giving to others and supportive of her children. Survivors include her husband, Joseph Delaney of Beloit; children, Steve (Lisa) Lamb of Rockford, IL, Stacy (Jennifer) Lamb of Davenport, FL, and Rebecca (Michael) MacGregor of Clermont, FL; step children, Denise Delaney, John Delaney, Lisa (Maurice) Hagen, and Melissa Rushton; grandchildren, Brandon Lamb, McKenzie Perry, Chelsea and Aubry Tindall, Patrick Stansell, Samantha, Lauren, and Cody MacGregor; several step grandchildren; sister-in-law, Sherry Storez; and several nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. She was predeceased by her parents; sons, Gregory Allen and Thomas Allen Lamb; brother, Robert Storez; sister, Joanne (Jack) Dwyer; step brother, Arthur (Marlene) Duhem; and her beloved dogs, Scamp and Heidi. A Visitation of Remembrance will be from 10:00 a.m. until 12:00 p.m. on Monday, August 23, 2021 in the Daley Murphy Wisch & Associates Funeral Home and Crematorium, 2355 Cranston Rd., Beloit, WI. A graveside service will be at 12:30 p.m. Monday at Floral Lawn Cemetery, South Beloit, IL.
