Kathy Ann Wilcox Combs, age 62, of North Wilkesboro, passed away Sunday, June 2, 2019 at Curis of Wilkesboro. She was born February 24, 1957 in Watauga County to Wallace Kenneth and Reba Greer Wilcox. She was a member of Journey of Grace Baptist Church on Suncrest Orchard Road. Kathy was a loving wife and mother. She will be remembered for her kindness to others and her love of animals and cars. Kathy was one of God's angels on earth. Mrs. Combs was preceded in death by her father.
Surviving are her husband, Dwight "Butch" Combs; daughter, Amanda Bullis and spouse Brandon of Millers Creek; her mother, Reba Greer Wilcox Greene and spouse Kenneth(step dad) of Wilkesboro; sisters, Treeka Myers and Sandy Miller; granddaughter, Amelya Bullis.
Funeral service will be held 2:00 p.m. Friday, June 7, 2019 at Journey of Grace Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Pruitt officiating. The family will receive friends at Journey of Grace Baptist Church from 1:00 until 2:00 on Friday, prior to the service. The family has requested no flowers.
