A native of Haywood County, she was a daughter of the late William Arthur and Mabel Trammell Stamey. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Rogers, who died in 2015; five sisters; and six brothers. Mary enjoyed being at home and spending time with her family.
Mary is survived by two sons, Charlie Rogers, and his wife, Tonya, of Canton and Jack Rogers, Jr., of Waynesville; grandson, Travis Rogers, and his wife, Juli, of Canton; and three great-grandchildren, Charlie, Tegan and Chappel Rogers, all of Canton.
A private graveside service will be held at Green Hill Cemetery with Reverend Jimmy Burress officiating.
