Nancy was born on January 2, 1939, in Sterling, the daughter of Guido and Helen (Poci) Vittorio. She married George Sullivan in 1959 at St. Andrew Catholic Church in Rock Falls. He predeceased her on May 16, 2019.
Nancy was a member of St. Andrew Catholic Church, where she served as Eucharistic minister. In her younger years, Nancy worked alongside her parents at Vittorio Gardens selling vegetables. She enjoyed bowling, visiting casinos, country music, playing board games and cards, cooking and traveling. Nancy will be remembered by her children as the best mother ever!
Survivors include two daughters, Jolene (William) Hallock and Joyce Blake; one sister, Sally (Thomas) Wescott; two grandchildren, Nicholas Konopa and Ryley Blake and many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Nancy was preceded in death by her parents and her husband, George.
Visitation will be held at 11 a.m. on Monday, August 23, 2021 at St. Andrew Catholic Church, 708 10th Ave, Rock Falls. Celebration of the Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 12 p.m with Reverend Richard Russo officiating. Burial will conclude at Coloma Township Cemetery in Rock Falls.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Rock River Hospice & Home, 2706 Ave E, Sterling, IL 61081 or Alzheimer's Association Illinois Chapter, 8430 W. Bryn Mawr, Suite 800, Chicago, IL 60631.
