Funeral services for Anita "Nicky" Bryant, 78, of Lucedale were held March 3, 2021 at 11 a.m. at George County Funeral Home Chapel.
She was born June 28, 1942 in New Orleans, La. A member of First Baptist Church Lucedale, she was a retired beautician and former owner of Edwina's Beauty Shop. She died February 27, 2021 in Lucedale.
She is survived by her daughter and son-in-law, Sedeania and Jim Brown of Lucedale; granddaughter, Allison (Larry) Burge of Lucedale; grandson Charlie Bryant of Dallas, Texas; two great-granddaughters, Lawren Burge and Julia Brown, both of Lucedale and a great-grandson Luke Burge of Lucedale. She was also survived by two sisters, Julia (John) Gardner of Bassfield and Sammye Rutland of Petal.
She was preceded in death by her husband Gerald Bryant, her son, Barry Bryant, a grandson, Andrew Brown and her parents Grover and Doris Carter.
Interment was held at Magnolia Cemetery with Rev. John Henry officiating.
Pallbearers were Conner Westbrook, Ricky Harvey, Richard Harvey, Charlie Bryant, Larry Burge and Luke Burge.
