David Ward Pease, 75, of Paw Paw, passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021 at Bronson Hospital in Kalamazoo.
He was born May 17, 1946 in Kalamazoo, the son of the late Homer R. Pease and Leola P.(Dulyea) Pease.
David enjoyed the outdoors, including fishing and camping trips with the family, he also like tubing and scrapping. David was very hardworking and always hoped to return to work.
On November 23, 1968, he married Grace (Kniss) Pease who survives.
He is also survived by his daughter, Hope (Ernie) New; son, Brian (Jennifer) Pease; grandson, Connor David New; three brothers, John Pease, Larry (Carole) Pease and Danny Pease; his sister, Sandy Brewer; several nieces and nephews; close longtime friend, Pat Arnold; along with is best canine friend, Molly.
David was preceded in death by his sisters, Allene, Mary, Donna, Julie and Betty, brothers, Bob, Bill, Jim and Tom.
Cremation has taken place. There will be a memorial gathering at the home of ___ August 1, 2021, beginning at 2:00 p.m. at ___. There will be a graveside service following on Monday, August 2, 2021 at 12:00 p.m. at Fort Custer National Cemetery, 15501 Dickman Road, Augusta, where military honors will be presented.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Cancer Society or the Alzheimer's Association.
