VALE, N.C. - Dennis Wayne Dixon, 63, of Vale passed away on Monday, August 16, 2021 at Frye Regional Medical Center.
He was born July 2, 1958 in Pittsylvania County, Va. to the late Otis and Betty Roland Dixon. Dennis was a member of Providence Baptist Church in Hickory and employed with Catawba County Sheriff's Department. He was a member of Propst Crossroads Volunteer Fire Department and enjoyed riding motorcycles and spending time with his grandchildren.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brother-in-law, Terry Bynum.
A service to celebrate Dennis' life will be held on Sunday, August 22, 2021 at 3 p.m. at Providence Baptist Church in Hickory. Rev. Chris Dale will officiate. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
