Infant daughter of Mary C. (nee Paterno) and Kevin M. Harper was born to eternal life on December 24, 2020.

In addition to her parents, Grace also leaves her big brother, Henry John; maternal grandparents, Catharine and Carmine Paterno; paternal grandparents, Terri and John Harper; honorary great-grandparents Katherine and Terry Lennon; aunts and uncles, Michael (Katelyn) Paterno, Daniel (Laura), Brian, Kayleigh, Shawn, Brenna, and Riley Harper; cousins, Braeden, Vincent, and Jackson Paterno.

Grace is preceded in death by her maternal great-grandparents, Walter and Laura (DeForge) Andrusyshen, Theresa (DePalma) and Carmine Paterno; paternal great-grandparents JoAnn (Wilhelmi) Vanisko and Richard Vanisko, Margaret (Turner) and Ralph Harper.

Private services will be held for her family. A Mass of Christian Burial will take place at St. Francis Xavier Catholic Church with burial following at St. Mary Immaculate Catholic Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, memorials in Grace Marie Harper's name can be made to Anne and Robert H. Lurie Children's Hospital of Chicago.

Margaret A. Harper, 77, of Joliet, died Monday in her home. Mrs. Harper was the owner of the Red Line Transfer Co. for many years. Survivors include a daughter, Mary Jo Dailey; three sons, James, Michael and John; nine grandchildren; and two brothers, Donald and Kenneth Turner.
