Charles Richard Hunter, 78, passed away Monday, August 9, 2021 at his residence in New Port Richey, Florida. Charles was born to the late Charles Walton and Thelma Louise (Dailey) Hunter in Indianapolis, Indiana on July 23, 1943.
After high school, Charles went on to serve his country in the United States Army. On May 8, 1965 Charles married the love of his life, Beatrice Simons. Charles loved to watch M.A.S.H., watching The Price is Right, Jeopardy, and Wheel of Fortune with his loving wife. He loved spending time with his family, and especially enjoyed Sunday family dinners.
Charles is survived by his wife, Beatrice, three children, Richard "Allen" Hunter (Stephanie), Charles "Bryan" Hunter (Shonaka "Shonna"), and Nicole Renee "Nikki" Simpson (Arnold), 12 grandchildren, Chris, Chelci, Tony, Dustin, Nikki, Chris, Kayla, Elizabeth, Brittany, Dusty, Cynthia, Cheyenne, four great grandchildren, Jaiden, Gabby, Izzy, and Lucas.
Charles is preceded in death by his parents.
A visitation will be held, Tuesday, August 17th from 5-8 P.M. at Singleton & St. Pierre Funeral Service & Crematory, 7602 Madison Avenue, Indianapolis, Indiana 46227. A funeral service will be held Wednesday August 18th at 1 P.M. at the funeral home. Burial will follow in Acton Cemetery.
