Mary married Harold Robbins on January 21, 1955 and was a member of First Baptist Church for over 73 years.
Most of Mary's life was dedicated to raising her eight children. As they got older she went to work to help support the family by cooking at various restaurants and was know for her delicious homemade pies. As time went by she became a grand ma and loved spending time with all the grand babies. She loved snuggling them babies even if they weren't in the snuggling mood. Mom was always there for us in our good times and bad times.
She was the type of person that would give and do without so others could have.
She attended church until she was unable to the last few years of her life but always kept her faith in God. In the last few years she caught on to the internet (mostly) and love watching cooking videos, movies and listening to her favorite music.
Surviving is her husband, Harold, children, Allen Robbins of Evanston, IN, Mark (Shirley) Robbins, Shelly Sutton, David Robbins, Delight Howell, Brian (Raquel) Robbins, Shawn Robbins, LaTisha (Jared) Payne all of Tell City, IN; a sister Barbara McCollom; grandchildren, Shannon, Corey, Brad, April, Jade, Sydney, Timothy, Isaac, Brandon and 11 great grand children.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by a brother Arthur "Bud" Cunningham, Jr and grandchildren, L. Brian and Joshie..
Funeral Services will be held at 11:00am Saturday August 21, 2021 at Zoercher-Gillick Funeral Home with Pastor Michael Wilhite officiating. Burial will be in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3:00pm to 7:00pm Friday and from 9:00am to service time Saturday at the funeral home.
