Mrs. Tennessee Haskell died Friday morning at 7:30 at the residence of her father, Rev. J. Albert Hyden, pastor of Grace M.E. Church, No. 1 South Rural Street, aged 37 years.
The husband of the deceased died about 4 years ago. She leaves 3 children, aged respectively, 9, 7, and 5 years. The second child is with her sister in Indiana, the other 2 are here with the parents of the deceased. It is said that Mrs. Haskell was an exceptionally bright and intelligent woman, possessing the graces that give a charm to an exalted character. The sympathy of our community is extended to the bereaved children, parents, and the other relatives.
The funeral will be conducted tomorrow at Grace M.E. Church at 2 o'clock, by Rev. J.F. Culver, after which the remains will be laid to rest in Maplewood Cemetery.
