Captain Dave, as his family and friends called him, because of his love for his boat and ocean fishing, was born on Christmas Day 1945 in Bucks County PA. He lived in South Jersey, Philadelphia and Boston before settling at the shore area in 1980. He was a Christian that always believed in design over randomness.
He spent his career with KPMG, Advisory Services Group, W.R. Grace, and before retiring in 1994 was the CFO at NJN. The loves of his life were his family and his wife Marion, and daughter Jessica. His passion in life was traveling. Together they traveled throughout much of Western Europe, the United States and the Caribbean and were grateful for the experiences and the people they met. In his later years he would always be found on the Manasquan Beach in the summer, and then pursuing his wonder lust after summer's end.
