Mrs. Faye English, 84, of Wynne, died peacefully on Tuesday, August 17, 2021, surrounded by her family.
Faye was born on January 29, 1937, to Charlie and Lillie Mae Miller Baker. She worked for the Arkansas Department of Human Services for 30 years and enjoyed traveling. She was a member of Wynne Baptist Church and active in the Keenagers Group.
She is survived by her husband of 66 years, Tommy English, daughter, Sherry Organ and husband Johnny of Wynne, son, Tommy English, Jr. and wife Sheila of Paragould, sisters, Ruby Hodges of Cherry Valley, Arkansas and Hazel Burns of Van Buren, Arkansas. She is also survived by four grandchildren and six great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, August 19, 2021, at Kernodle Funeral Home from 9 AM until 10 AM with funeral services following at 10 AM. Burial will be in Cogbill Cemetery. Rev. Matt Dunavant will officiate. Memorials may be made to Wynne Baptist Church, P. O. Box 874, Wynne, Arkansas 72396.
