Joseph W. Watson, 73 of Fordyce met the Lord on Thursday August 19, 2021. Born July 22, 1948 at Kingsland, he was a son of the late Joe B. Watson and Emma Green Watson.
He attended Temple Baptist Church in Fordyce and was a supervisor for the Fordyce Street Department. Other than his parents, he was preceded in death by two brothers and six sisters.
He is survived by his wife; three sisters; a daughter; 2 step-children and six grandchildren.
The family will receive friends Friday from 6:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m. at Benton Funeral Home in Fordyce. Graveside services will be 11:00 a.m. Saturday at McCoy Cemetery.
