N.J. native was construction worker and logger
Emmet E. Burgess, 71, of Fairmount Township died Tuesday, Aug. 17, 2021, at his home.
Born July 9, 1950, in Perth Amboy, N.J., he was a son of the late Wesley E. and Pearl A. (Harvey) Burgess.
Mr. Burgess graduated from High School in Edison, N.J. He had worked as a construction worker and logger for most of his working life.
Surviving, are his sister, Tamsie Oliveri, of Shickshinny, as well as numerous nieces and nephews.
Along with his parents, he was preceded in death by a brother, Pepper Burgess.
Graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family at the Bloomingdale Cemetery, Ross Township, Luzerne County.
