Patricia Jean Carter

Patricia "PJ" Jean Carter changed her address to Heaven on Monday, August 16th, 2021, just 2 days after her earthly birthday. She is rejoicing in the arms of her Heavenly Father, her 6 brothers and 3 sisters, her daughter, Betty Sue Waller Moore and her great granddaughter, Heather Goins. What a reunion!

Patricia was the daughter of the late Daniel Carl Carter and Hattie Rebecca Ritchie Carter of Rt 5, Salisbury, NC. She was loved by many, but especially her son, Robert Linn Waller, Jr and wife Lisa Austin, her daughter Renea Rothwell Kyles and husband Everette W. Kyles ll, grandchildren, Bob Stump (Linn, Jr.), Brian Stump, Crystal Lynn Moore, Darren Lynn Moore, Jr., Victor Kyles, Connor Kyles and Olivia Kyles. She has 12 great grandchildren. The 2 youngest, Emma and Viviana visited her often, She loved them so.

Miss Carter was a member of Truth Temple church in Kannapolis, NC, for 30 years, but attended The Refuge Church here in Salisbury for the last several years and enjoyed singing and praising God there.

She had a degree in Liberal arts and business administration. She was a Paralegal and a Notary. Her passion was art and photography. She was a Photographer for years. She traveled to every state on the east coast taking pictures in Dept Stores until her daughter started school and then she opened a studio on Main Street, There was always a line around the building every Saturday. She painted her own backgrounds. She was a true artist. We will cherish her paintings and portraits for years to come.

Her funeral will be on Sunday, August 22, 2021. The visitation will be at The Refuge Church, 128 N. Fulton St., Salisbury, NC at 1:00. The service will follow at 1:30 at the church. Graveside will be at Brookhill Memorial Gardens in Rockwell, NC at 3pm. Pastor Billy Rollings will officiate.

Condolences can be sent to Mr. and Mrs. Everette W. Kyles ll, 1226 S. Main GQ St, Salisbury, NC 28146. The family and friends of Patricia will meet at this address after the burial for a meal and fellowship together.
