Dorothy Lynn Kennedy passed away October 8, 2023 in McKinney, Texas at the age of 90. She was born to Cecil and Eunice (Hufstutler) Roberts on July 8, 1933 in McKinney, Texas.
Dorothy married Frankie Kennedy in 1954 in Plano, Texas. She was of the Baptist faith.
Dorothy is survived by her son, Terry Kennedy and wife, Jana of McKinney, Texas; granddaughter, Tara Kennedy of Murfreesboro, Tennessee; brother, Ralph Roberts of Granbury, Texas; numerous nieces and nephews, and a host of other loving family and friends.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Frankie Kennedy; her daughter, Marsha Kennedy; and brothers, Billy and Charles Roberts.
A graveside service will be held at 1:30 p.m., Thursday, October 12, 2023 at Ridgeview Memorial Park in Allen, Texas. Family and friends are invited to Turrentine-Jackson-Morrow Funeral Home in Allen, Texas at their convenience on Wednesday, October 11, 2023 to pay their respects and to sign the register book.
