Keith Russell Clark
September 26, 1959 - August 4, 2021

Keith Russell Clark, 61 of DeLand, Florida passed away on August 4, 2021, at his home. Keith was born on September 26, 1959 in DeLand, Florida to Willie and Dorothy Clark, Sr. both deceased. He was preceded in death by his maternal grandparents Nathaniel and Lena Smith and great grandmother Annie English; paternal grandparents Major Clark and Lillian Summer; aunts Mabel Polk and Shirley Bell; uncles Nathaniel Smith and Sonny Smith, Paul and Youree Smith; brothers-in-law David Simmons and Elisha Strapp; and nephew Delton Clark.

Keith graduated from DeLand Senior High School in 1977. In 1984, he earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration from Stetson University. Keith worked in various positions for CVS Corporation, formerly Eckerd Drugs and retired from management after 30 years in 2012. He was a faithful and contributing member of Greater Union First Baptist Church since childhood and loved participating in the music ministry. He also had served on the Trustee Ministry.

Keith was an extremely kind, thoughtful, artistic, and creative. He had a profound sense of humor and loved his family, friends, and community. His grandchildren were his absolute joy. His legacy will be sustained through the many weddings, community and family events he photographed. He humbly shared his artistic skills to create custom items and graphics that celebrated and comforted his family and friends. Keith's uplifting and humorous Facebook posts will truly be missed.

In his earlier years, he used his creative skills to organize community and neighborhood talent shows. Oh, what fun they were! He also used these skills to perform in local musicals and plays. The barber skills of his youth were legendary. His custom haircuts, which included hand etched designs like basketballs in mid air, were always in high demand. In addition to performing in local stage productions, Keith enjoyed music ministry and sang with church and community choirs, as well as, performed at many weddings and funerals. The stories of his support of his family and friends are endless. All who knew Keith share stories of his generosity and how he lived his motto to "be somebody that makes everybody seem like somebody." His servanthood was a Christian life well lived.

Keith leaves to cherish his loving memories, sons KeAndre' Clark (Joanne) of Lake Mary, FL and Michael Clark of Orlando, FL; grandchildren Joel Soto, Leahani Clark, Karsen Clark, Tyri Clark, Jayden Clark and Mikyah Clark; sisters Linda Simmons (Leo) of DeLand, FL, Sandra Strapp of Daytona Beach, FL and Karen Clark (Gerelle) of Grand Prairie, TX; brother Willie Clark, Jr. of DeLand, FL; nieces Renee' Simmons-Woods (Eric) of Missouri City, TX, Tecarra Clark and Jaida Clark of Tampa, FL; nephews David Simmons of DeLand, FL, Tavio Strapp (Tammy) of Aubrey, TX, Mario Simmons (Isabella) of Orlando, FL; great nieces Demi Simmons and Morgan Woods; great nephews Devin Woods, Cameron Strapp, and Jarrod Clark, devoted cousins Gail Duplessis, Nicole
